Hi all, 1st post.

I have a simple "?". I am recording the Korea v Brazil match now. Can I take my Direct TV box to a friends home and watch the match there? I am not canceling my service, just want to watch the match at a friends home. Thanks

If he has Directv also, you could connect to his system, it will work as long as you have the same type of setup. You might have to change it in the setup menu. If you don't connect it, it may work, I'm not sure about that. I know if you cancel service, the dvr will no long work. I guess the answer is give it a try and see!
