There are various references to these two receivers in this forum, and one even has some specs. As we approach the release of these two receivers, could you please post data sheets or something similar that has all the specs for each receiver in one place - along with photos of the front and back?

Thanks, really looking forward to the release of these machines...

It would be nice to see some spec sheets and maybe a heads up as to any further delays. Dish took the PI channels off 61.5 except for 3ABN and two info channels (What's On Dish & Dish Info) so I am ready for a new venture.

My concern is whether (and how long) I may be waiting in the dark for something new without really knowing what I am waiting for. It would be a bummer to wait a long time only to then decide the basic package is good enough for me.

I noticed in the image that the satellite dish is a lighter color from those shown on your web site. Has there been a change to the dish, as well, or is this just a variation between marketing materials?

oh to be a beta tester

Even so, that puts the consumer release date around 25 May. Now if I could just get in in my hands in time for Memorial Day weekend! :D

One more question please. . . when will the DVR1100C hit the GloryStar website for perusal of "one room package" cost . . . and just maybe to place an order?

When the testing is complete and our beta users give the thumbs up sign...... then we will start the sales. We originally were going to offer pre-release sales, but have decided to opt out so not to generate additional call volume from anxious purchasers.

Our office has been extremely busy with the Sky Angel satellite departure and didn't want to take our CSRs over the edge with unnecessary call volume.

I see your point, thanks.

I take it that it doesn't have a digital OTA tuner? How about analog OTA tuner?

I'm just thinking about my in-laws who are OTA only and it would be nice to get them a Glorystar system that integrated OTA.

DVR1100c Product Release Update:

Due to a manufacturing delay, the DVR1100c will be available for purchase and delivery on or about June 15th. This was due to a supply issue with a minor component, but it postponed the complete assembly process.

We apologize and recognize that many are patiently waiting .......

What are the differences between the new Glorystar receiver and one that comes with the sadoun motorized package (Mercury II)? Is one better quality (bells and whistles - Cadillac and Chevy or like the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix - about the same)?
