Anybody heard of this? From SkyReport:

EchoStar's New Toy

Known for its continuing techno-innovations, EchoStar now has a really, really skinny DVR (code-named Mercury) on display at the big IBC show. It's just 9mm in height (that's about 0.35" for the metrically challenged) and includes all the cool stuff you'd expect including two-way high-speed services, a 32GB onboard (and upgradable) memory, plus (of course) the ability to support satellite, cable, IPTV and even WiFi platforms.

In other EchoStar IBC news, the company is also moving fast via a new partnership with Nagravision. The duo plan to launch a pre-integrated client and connected-device platform for IPTV operators, including an advanced hybrid DVR.•

It is an IPTV device without local storage. The storage included is for buffering the current stream and trick play on the current stream.
