Eagle 1705ku FSS?

What can this LNB be used for? When junking last night and came across this LNB and a Zinwell SAM-6802 and several STB for Voom and DTV.

Huge pile of super dishes ect. but only grabbed the LNB and the dish that is was on.

The LNBF can be used to receive a linear KU band satellite. Examples: Galaxy 19, Galaxy 18, AMC 4, etc.

ok I thought the FSS was for something different. Did not know it could be used for normal FTA

FSS (Fixed Satellite Service) includes what you have referred to to as FTA.

In North America, FSS includes C-band (3.7 - 4.2GHz) and KU-band (11.7 - 12.2GHz).

Thanks always finding out something new. picking up parts from the DN installers that they don't want and runnning into things I have no idea what are

Oh well gets me learning new things and who knows might need some of the parts one day or someone might.
