East Coast Feeds for the west coast

No can do.

This ain't the C-band days :D. Certainly was sweet in the 80's to be able to view both feeds; news prep shots; etc. However, I wouldn't go back - no DVR; time to move the dish from Sat to Sat.

you're not blacked out of those games. When I had Dish they gave me WPIX as a CW for my locals (local CW is cable only/subchannel) and I wasnt blacked out of those games here in MN

Canadian TV. That's the only way.
Far easier to make up an address somewhere in Northern Maine for All American Direct than the hoops you need to go through for Canadian tv.

The address for All American Direct doesn't even have to be the same one as your Dish Network address, as they are separate companies.

All Amercian Direct has RV waivers available. Read the definition as it doesn't necessarily have to be an "RV" if you have a vehicle you use for "camping" and are using those receviers for that "purpose"
Then you can use any address. AS the RV "could be traveling to the east coast.

I don't think they'd accept someone "camping" in a Ford Escort. ;)

The say that the Vehicle has to be "designed" for camping. And you have to send in a copy of a valid RV vehicle registration that is in your name.

From the RV waiver form at https://www.mydistantnetworks.com/RVDeclarationRequest3.19.2010.pdf

HUD regulations (Title 24 of Code of Federal Regulations, Section 3282.8) define "recreation vehicle" as a vehicle that is: (1) built on a single chassis; (2) 400 square feet or less when measured at the largest horizontal projections; (3) self-propelled or permanently towable by a light duty truck; and (4) designed primarily not for use as a permanent dwelling but as temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, travel, or seasonal use.

Bob had a good thought..Slingbox. Has anyone ever considered a network of Slingbox Friends (ala Facebook) where one would contact a "Slingfriend" on the East Coast to view a channel so you could watch an East Coast ball game or an early Late Show in Los Angeles? Could this work?

Although I have seen some extremists who camp and live in small vehicles--agree with you that the Escort would be a stretch- but vans, suv's or similar that are used for temporary living quarters could pass.

Yes, but they are not "designed" as to be an rv. I just said an Escort to reenforce the poijt.
