Does anyone know why Encore WAM is not included with the $4.99 per month Encore movie package? Seems strange it is the ONLY Encore station not included. I subscribed to Encore today and get all stations except WAM and technical support said it isn't included.

I would not know. I looked on Dishnetwork.com and saw it (Encore WAM) listed under the Classic Gold 250 Package, channel 347.

Good question I thought it was, I have Top250 so I get it, but maybe by itself you don't, my parents have it al la carte, I am going to ask next time I call or go by.

WAM isn't included in the Encore movie pack. i know this as i used to work for Echostar call center
Dish split up other movie pacages the same way. For example, The Movie Channel West is not in the Showtime package - it's in Gold!
I can see adding a movie channel or two in the high end "basic" packages, but it just seems wrong to exclude some channels from the movie packages. There is certainly no logic to it - just $$
