I keep getting the error 771 and 775 on my screen. I have reset my OLD swm adapter many times to get the picture to come back up for a few hours then it does the same thing. I bought a NEW swm adapter and I am now getting the same errors. I have reset the NEW swm adapter many times and the picture just keeps cutting out. and shows both errors.

My satellite transponders are:

1-8---- 96 95 95 0 96 0 0 0

9-16--- 0 96 96 0 97 100 96 100

:welcome to Satelliteguys Eric!

Your signal strength numbers are too low, likely triggering the error codes you are getting. If you can get to the dish, check to be sure it's not loose, both at the base and the dish itself. If it's okay, it probably needs to be realigned.

copper clad steel (CCS) RG6 between the power inserter and the LNB will also throw errors once it starts to degrade. it should say on the cable itself somewhere "CCS" if it is.

but i agree, the dish needs to be aligned.

I'ma bet corroded ccs inside a connector for this one... Only other time I've seen that combination of errors with those signal readings was when an unapproved splitter was put in-line.

775 is unable to communicate with SWM. 90% of the time it's due to the PI being unplugged or moved incorrectly. The other 10% is a cable/splitter issue. The combination of the two would indicate a problem with a cable/splitter. Which the OP found out.
