ESPN - Black

Why is ESPN black. No video no audio. Every other channel is fine. The Sports Mix channel shows ESPN just fine. But if I tune to 206 it is just black. WHY! It's been like this for 10 minutes. The game's about to start! On hold with DTV....


Is anyone else having a problem?

Channel 73 works with the MPEG-2 version of ESPN HD but not 206

I have the game in SD on my living room TN , but it is just a gray screen in my bar room. Very strange and not a good thing for DTV with all the bitches that are already appearing on these boards.

DirecTV has contacted me and let me know that they know about the issue and are working on correcting it.

The SD version of ESPN is still working, they hope to have ESPN-HD back online shortly.

Only a DirecTV issue. If I had to guess I would say their HD IRD feeding 206 in MPEG4 died, so they had to replace it with another IRD and get it authorized with ESPN.
