What's the latest on getting ESPN on C-band? Do we have a chance of getting it at all or am I going to have to switch to a small dish just to get sports?

We're basically SOL on 4dtv. If NPS can get the IPTV platform to become a reality, they might get ESPN. The odds on NPS actually pulling off IPTV is anybody's guess. There are a lot of sports that are FTA on cband though.
