Ethernet on Openbox S10

I just hooked up an Openbox S10, and I'm fairly happy with it. Now, can anyone tell me what I can do with the Ethernet port it comes with?

Would be a good alternative for some to update firmware. Has anyone tried it?

I've tried it. In some versions of the firmware it works fine, other times it crashes the box.

I haven't had any problem uploading and downloading channel lists with it so far, but I haven't used it too much.

Do you use the same loader that the RS232 connection uses?

No. The program is called STBHD_LAN_MM. I don't remember whether it's been uploaded here.
