Exede Caps Lifted For Overnight Use

My exede system use to work great until hig wids moved my dish..I am in Western or Franklin, North Caolina area and need a Modem Key to re-aim my dish. Can anyone help?? Exede wants me to pay an installer to re-visit my house - a 2 hour drive each way from Asheville.

I question the need to pay Bill, I'm thinking sub-par installation. In my mind, that should be a no-charge repair. I say this because I have a 98cm Hughes dish that's weathered Cat 1 hurricane winds without budging a centimeter. And it's got quite a bit more sail area than your Exede dish. On the same pole (2" Sch40 steel) I have a 30" DirecTV Slimline dish that's closer to Exede size. It was solid as a rock through those winds as well.

I don't have the wind load rating for that dish, but I'd be surprised if it's less than 110 mph. When installed properly, your dish should NOT have been moved by anything less than a Cat 3 hurricane.
