Exede Ground Cable

Well Exede wont talk to me without a signed contract.. I have a 150 foot run. Is the installer gonna want a ground wire (messenger) on the cable? The dish will be installed on an existing pole.. I'm wondering if the pole could be grounded with a ground rod. Any suggestions on brand of RG6 I should use?

Don't have the system but would expect they would want it grounded back to the main system grounds so as not to develop a ground loop.

The pole is technically a ground.

Generally the installer will ground the dish to the coax and connect it to either the electrical ground on the house or a cold water pole.
