faded color

yesterday i received a 625 DVR.
the picture/screen color is very faded and washed out. it appears the same on both TV1 and TV2. i connected a 510 DVR to TV1 and the color is fine.

is this a receiver problem or a connection issue? It was installed by a dish tech.
any thoughts?
