I read on Wikipedia that Fashion TV HD is available FTA.

Better than those sleeping pills Iceberg. And less addictive

Just a note of fun on that whole sleepy thing. I swear to you, I get soooo sleepy when I blindscan late at night. It works EVERY time!! One night I couldn't sleep, so I decided to blindscan and boom....it sets in. (Doesn't work with the 8100 HD as that thing irritates me to no end.) Read the general area and you'll see why.

9 degrees? Ouch. I will check the online stuff and see how easily accesible that is from Austin. The 100 degrees for Asiasat doesn't sound too bad.

Thanks for the 411.

That's 9 degrees East for Eurobird 9 and 100 degrees East for AsiaSat2. You won't be able to see either one from the USA.

Just remember, they use 1080i 25 FPs at 50 Hz system instead of 1080i 30 FPs 60 HZ system that we use here.....

I have yet to see 1080i 25 to 30 FPs video conversion FTA receivers, on the market.:hungry:

Interesting.... I didn't know that.:)

HD version is up according to their website
11929 V 22000 MPEG4

The video looks good, it is MPEG4 (H264) 1920x1088 @ 7.22 Mbps.
Now let's hope that it stays FTA. (According to Scott FTV HD is going to be on Dish)
The good thing is that the information is posted on FTV's website,
but I do remember when they wanted the channel to be a subscription channel: FTV going encrypted today (Old Thread 02-21-2007)

More HD FTA please :)
