After being told that I could not just go pick up the 3rd generation (I think that is what they call it) Motorola DCT-6412 HD DVR and after the installation guy showed up 1 hour past the window with the old DVI version, I finally was told that I could go over to Comcast Baltimore city headquarters and pick up the right one (with HDMI). So I picked it up this afternoon. Unlike its DVI & firewire outputting predecessor, which I decided to keep and bring upstairs (replacing a non-DVR HD box) it also has a coaxial out as well as the HDMI out. So you can feed digital video and audio to your HDTV and non-digital video and audio to your SD TV in the next room (if you want to). I like it so far!
