finally pulled the trigger- upgrade to HD on Dish.

well i glad to say, despite recent disputes with other networks, my household decided to upgrade to Dish HD, with the Free HD for Life offer.

and this evening, we did the upgrade installation, two 722k HD DVRs and one HD Dish.

and i enjoy every moment of the new HD DVR.

Congrats on the upgrade! You will enjoy (as I do) the great line up of HD channels. It's awesome the difference between what you used to have and what you have now. Probably the best part of my job as an installer at Dish is doing HD upgrades for customers and watching their excitement and anticipation when I get their new system up and running and they get to see the potential of that $2000 TV they bought. It's great!!

Dish Network's HD Service is excellent! You just have to make sure that you have a HD TV of equal quality to truly take advantage of the Service ;o)

We finally upgraded to a 722k about a month ago and the difference in PQ is amazing. I'm currently watching Texas- Rice in glorious HD.
