How can I find the satellite that phoenix arizona uses? im trying to use dish pointer. Im not in phoenx and temporarily setting up dish on vacation. It has multiple sats to choose from?

Depending on where you're at you prolly won't get Phoenix locals. You'll need to look for the 101. Are you using a slimline, 18X20, or a round 18?

All DirecTV dishes of a given type are set up exactly the same way, pointed at the same satellites. What dish do you have? Where are you located exactly?
