I received an advance email because I signed up to receive info when it was available in our area. The email offered a waiver of the upgrade fee if I did a pre order. I did...... and it says to expect arrival by 6/13

A Quantum DVR. Is that a DVR where you both recorded and did not record the program until you try to view it and discover whether or no it's available?
Oh, no... that's my current cable company's DVR box right now!

lol I will let you know how it goes. I did hesitate but figured since they were not charging the upgrade fee I would try it now. Since we currently have 6 tuners I went for 12/2TB. A lot of shows we like seem to be on the same nights and times and there are 3 of us with different favorites. I found the installation and set up manual but I could not find any other info.
