FireTV Pendant and Cube Now Support Dolby Atmos

How to stream Dolby Atmos surround sound on Amazon Fire TV devices

A pain but it does work. Indiotic that you must bore down into the Menus to find out whether it is Ultra or 1080. My FireTV confirms Atmos but not sure whether Video is in HDR or Vision.

Do have to manually select Atmos with the FTV Menu key and my Onkyo has to be manually switched to Atmos or NO sound at all.

All hit or miss. Too much user interaction required but the sound is great with a true Atmos speaker placement..

Just checked. Fire TV cube pushes HDR while WebOS pushes Dolby Vision. Obviously Vision is in the AMZ Prime stream but I guess their Cube won't decode it. this is all too HARD!
