Call me crazy - but this has been happening since I signed up 2 weeks ago off and on. Now today, I send an email earlier to that mailbox - now there isn't anymore white lines in the screen.

I got my reply back today from DISH stating that they HAVE CONFIRMED what I was pointing out! Damn - i'm a naive new subscriber - but that's some good customer service!
I'll be damned - here is the email I just got from DISH:
Dear Matt:
We have just received words from our engineers that they have isolated the problem and fixed it. Thank you for your information. We truly appreciate it.
