fortec mercury II fta settings

I like when scanning I have the option for fta or fta+cas, this is nice. but I wish there was a way of doing the same when blindscanning. right now whenever I do a blindscan I get all the encrypted channels, then I have to upload my firmware to the computer, edit the list, delete the encrypted channels (the pc software may not be great, but using the remote is worse, lol) and save and download it back to the ird.

is there a menu setting I havent see to select that I only ever want fta channels scanned ?

I know on my Fortec classic when I go into blind scan menu one of the options is "all" or "fta"

I think the "power" scan option does it all, all the time. I've actually lost that darn remote, and need to find it so I can finish programming my universal remote!

excellent, that worked like a charm, I must have missed that setting before.

in powerscan mode, third option from the bottom is 'mode' you can change from scan all or scan fta

cool. So it sounds like the Mercury II has kinda the same menu interface as the Classic
