I got a fortec ultra with blind scan capabilities and hooked it up tonight.
It seems to be dumb. I can do a power scan and come up with the live transponders but when it searches for networks it doesn't come up with any.
When I enter the PIDs manually it finds a channel but when I try to view it it says its scrambled or incorrect. I am praticing on G10r. My dish works fine with my other receiver a BEC DBS-1000.
What am I doing wrong? I am brand new to this receiver and don't quite know how to operate it yet.
