another week (ok so its a day early) of the FFFP :)

simple question...gonna test out some of your math skills ;)

on your dish farm, how many LNB's do you have set up?
Now this is ACTIVE dishes (ya cant count the 25 Phase III's in the basement) ;)

couple thoughts
-the QPH031 counts as 2 as it can get both Circular & Linear
-A KU & C-band LNB setup on a C-Band dish counts as 2

so how many LNB's are on your dish farm?
-1 to 4
-5 to 9
-10 to 14
-15 to 19
-20+

well lets see
-2 on motorized (DBS & KU)
-2 on Starchoice dish (107.3/111.1 & 119)
-2 on Primestar 1 (74/79)
-3 on Primestar 2 (119/123/129)
-2 on C-Band 1 (91/99)
-1 on 2nd C-Band dish that gets ghetto moved

12 :)

( to think I use to have 3 on motorized, 30W, 2 on C-Band and 12 or 13 on the T90)

Hmm...One on each of the 3 Primestars, and one C-band on each of the two BUD's. So 5 but if I also count my E* setup that adds 3 more ...(if a DPP dual counts as 2!):D So 5! or 8. Oh and there's a P* LNB on a DTV phase 3 that gets absolutely nothing right now, so it doesn't count anyway! (Whitesprings project gone bad!)

I have -

1 Universal Ku-Band LNB (Motorized)
1 Universal Ku-Band LNB (Fixed Dish at 103°)
1 Standard C-Band / Standard Ku-Band Combo LNB
1 Ku-Circular LNB

So I have a total of 5 FTA LNBs :).

I will be adding another Standard Ku-Band LNB to my motorized setup once my used analog receiver arrives since they don't like universal LNBs :(

2 on the DN and 1 on the FTA. Man! I got a looooong way to go to catch up, huh?

:) It's GREAT reading all the postings & wish I could participate more.

This is a great site -- keep up the good work......:up

15 counted ... but not all installed
1 ku installed on primestar
4 ku mounted on primestars not up yet
1 ku not installed (new)
1 ku universal not installed (new)
2 bsc621 c & ku mounted on 10 ft & 7 1/2 ft
1 geosat pro c1 c-band lnbf not mounted (new)
1 ASC421 c-band lnbf not mounted (new)
2 california amp c-band lnbfs

5 ku primestar lnb ( h & v seperate) not counted
2 ku lnb not mounted not used and not counted
2 DTV lnbf not mounted not used and not counted
oh and my dtv sub has the three eye one but not counted

2 @ dual feedhorn for C-Band 10' dish
2 @ Invacom QPH031 for motorized 1,2m dish (Iceberg says Invacom counts as 2)
2 @ Corotor 2 feedhorn for BUD, one C-Band, one Ku-Band (used with 4dtv mostly)
10 @ Torodial dish on 72, 74, 79, 83, 87, 89, 93, 97, 101 and 103
4 @ P* 40" oval dish, main on 123, Invacom QPH031 on 129 (counts as 2), and one on 116.8
2 @ Dish500 on 110/119
1 @ Dish500 on 61.5

These are operational and I have more laying around, currently not in use....
By the way, I voted the 20+

15 active...down from 26 a year ago...
8 foot Channel Master fiberglass...2-Norsat 8115's and 2-Japan Radio PLL's
8 foot Channel Master fiberglass...1 Invacom TWF-031
10 foot Channel Master fiberglass...2 Cal Amp Extended Pro II's
1 meter Channel Master offset pointed at Intelsat 3R KU...an old DMSI LNBF
1.2 meter Channel Master offset pointed at Galaxy 25 KU...Hughes C120 flange LNB
1.2 meter Channel Master offset pointed at Galaxy 16 KU...Invacom SNF-031 LNB
1.2 meter Channel Master offset pointed at AMC 1 KU...Invacom SNF-031 LNB
1.2 meter Prodelin offset pointed at Galaxy 28 KU...Hughes C120 flange LNB
1.0x.70 Channel Master offset oval on HH motor...Hughes C120 flange LNB
Dish Network 1000.2 dish with triple LNBF 110-119-129 for the DN sub (I only counted this as one)
24" Dish Network single pizza pan 61.5 for the DN sub

Only 3 active LNBs here, for the time being at least. One stacked LNB on my 1 meter Channel Master, and the Invacom Quad on the motorized dish which counts as two.

When the second motorized dish is finally installed, it will have an Invacom Quad, so that will be two more. When that long-awaited BUD finally sprouts, there will be at least one more. If I can find another NPRM, the T-90 will go up, and who knows what switching nightmares that will bring :D

I thought I had scaled back tremendously, but I'm still counting several lnb's

20" dish - 2 circulars (for NASA, and the other one still finds me an occasional freebie)
36" fortec - 2 linears and 1 circular
2 Primestars left (1 lnb each for a total of 2)
36" world direct dish - 1 linear 1 circular
3abn dish - 2 linear
10' unimesh - 2 c-band (orthomode)
7.5' winegard - 1 c-band
10' mesh dish - 2 ku, 1 c-band

Plus I have stored for backups/tinkering:
bsc621 (1 c-band, 1 ku)
2 c-band corotors with lnbs
1 spare cheapo c-band lnb (no feedhorn)
3-4 circular lnbs tucked away somewhere (from systems I've torn down in the past)
3 primestar feedhorns with bad lnb's (need some of those stacked lnb's to hook up to them and put them in service!)

So I count at least 25 working lnbs (with 5 unused)

Well let's see! Hmmm!

Starting at the South end of the building.
1 - C and 1 Ku on the 10 foot Pinnacle = 2
1 - Ku on the 84e pointed at Hispasat =1
2 - Ku on the 84e pointed at 123/129 = 2
1 - C and 1 Ku on the 10 foot SAMI = 2
1 - C and 1 Ku on the 8.5 foot solid Birdview = 2
2 - Ku on 84e pointed at 87/97 = 2
2 - Ku on 84e pointed at 123/129 = 2
1 - ku pointed at Hispasat = 1
2 - C and 2 Ku on the Bullseye II Ortho on the 8.5 foot Perfed Birdview = 4
1 - C and 1 Ku on the 7.5 foot Perfect 10 = 2
1 - C and 1 Ku on the 10 foot Perfect 10 = 2
1 - Ku on the motorized Primestar = 1
Total of 23 hooked up and working right now.

Dont' have a clue how many spares. Too many to count.

 ...We Have Our WINNER!! Oh, that's right, this is a POLL not a contest!:D

Sadly only 2 on the QPH031 on 90cm motorized. I briefly had C-band working for the first time on the signal meter this afternoon but bumped the dish and could not get it back.
