Future of FTA

Is FTA going away any time soon?,no.Will it be the same tomorrow as it was yesterday?,no.Should you be spending thousands of $'s to get it?,hell no.
It's a hobby for some,an alternative for others,if you continue to get things that interest you,keep playing.If you can't find anything to watch anymore,move on.
It's kinda like 4DTV,it was supposed to be dead and buried 5 years ago,according to some,but it's still here,even if it's not what it used to be.

No way will everything be uplinked over the internet for video. 1. is because of metered billing may arrive in a more wide spread manner. 2. Internet is unreliable, I believe mine goes down when they do them annoying emergency alert tests. 3. Stuff will probably get encrypted more, its really stupid to encrypt channels that can be gotten OTA!
