As others here have explained in different words, we are "under the radar" on many channels and feeds. Making noise (complaining) will put it "ON the radar" and so you call an air strike in on yourself (that is, getting a channel or feed scrambled.) This is unfortunately true in many situatuions encountered in life. Government regulations are another instance of this. Note that this "air strike" idea didn't originate with me. I saw it first on a Lister (slow speed Diesel) engine forum about EPA regulations.
