3.94 here was 3.82 last week.

Gas shot up 10 cents a gallon overnight, now $3.99 in North Central Illinois. Why? Because the oil companies can.

I just looked in the paper and see the price of oil dropped $2.38 a barrel yesterday, so the price goes up overnight WTF.

Prices at some stations here have backed off a couple cents..$3.75 to $3.80 is the norm.

Jumped? We have been coming down from $3.99 to $3.79 the past week.

We were coming down from the $3.70 mark for the last 10 days or so. We were down to 3.54 until yesterday when it jumped to $3.66

Gas is $3.49 near Sea World in Orlando. The price is all over the place in this area . Note to people who visit. Stay away from any Gas Station near Disney World. Big price difference.

Gas and oil prices spiked today. Up 14 cents(4%) was gasoline. Up $3.57 for oil (4.05%) I would attribute that to the Turks and Syrians shooting at each other across their common border.
I would expect a 5 to 10 cent increase in gas prices over the next few days. Doubtful the consumer market can absorb a 14 cent increase in the wholesale price without raising the consumer price.
Here we go again.
This is another reason why the US should harvest it's own natural resources and cut out the countries that cannot stay out of turmoil.

Unfortunately it is a global market, not a domestic market so any new resources would be absorbed into the global pool. US is an oil EXPORTER as well as an importer.
