Had to do a hour drive to the new house, all the gas stations here in Central Florida are averaging $4.15 for unleaded, $6.15 for diesel.Went to $3.99 today.
Yep, that's what I saw today. Doesn't matter if it goes to $5.....I'll just pay the price and move on.Went to $3.99 today.
This isn't justified. I call foul and suspect some manner of pricing interference is going on. California's gas tax is 73.6¢/gal while Oregon's tax is 40¢/gal (both gas and diesel), so there's only a 33.6¢ differential attributable to that. California's diesel tax is 93¢/gal.Regular$6.059
Premium$6.459
Diesel$7.999
Diesel national average crossed $6 for the first time in history, on it's way to $6.15-$6.25.

I simply can't wrap my head around paying THAT much for fuel when other states are paying $2 less per gallon. My F-150 holds 36 gals. When I fill up I usually put in 25 because that's the max you can with the Chevron Rewards discount...that means I'd be paying $50 MORE per fill up.Regular$6.099
Premium$6.499
Diesel$7.999

From my Brother-in-Law on Beaver Island:A mile and a half from Costco, Rohnert Park, still in Rohnert Park.

That is INSANE
Part of the reason is that California recently shut down some of their refineries.I simply can't wrap my head around paying THAT much for fuel when other states are paying $2 less per gallon.
