I posted a thread similar to this on another board just to get an idea of what people thought.

I am an investor in Q Television network, a Gay/Lesbian TV channel. The wife and I bought into it because it seemed like a great idea and the stock price was nill.

They are currently on RCN Cable which hardly anyone has and we've all been waiting for them to sign another major carrier.

Here TV just started on DTV/Dish and someone is churning the rumor mill about a DTV deal, but it just might be rumors.

What do you think of it, is there a place for it on DTV? Here is PPV, QTV will be sub based and provide 24 hour programming including 3 hours a day of live programming.

7.95 per month.

Anyone heard anything about it that has some ties to DTV?

Thanks

Voom (HD Satellite) has The Divine HD channel, which is 24x7 G/L related programming in HD. When Voom first announced it, the flame throwers were out in force but the reality is the programming is movies a lot of people watch and never knew it was considered in that category.

Check it out.. http://www.voom.com

You are correct about the programming on V*'s "Divine" channel or what ever it is called now. It is not as offensive as I thought it should be. That said, I fail to see the need to call it a Gay and lesbian channel when the programming is somewhat diversified. As long as they keep it a sub based service I have no problem as porn is available for PPV or sub basis. But don't I sure as hell don't want to pay for it as part of a base package.

:up Well, I'm impressed! It certainly took longer than I thought it would for a post like this to appear.
