Gemini with a peculiar issue

In all of my 20+ years with DIRECTV, I have never used a piece of their equipment that does not display the software information, until now. This Gemini was drop shipped via FedEx, 2-3 weeks ago. I done a self install with this particular box. It works just fine, as far as everyday use of it goes. But, it has never displayed its software information. This is for satellite, not streaming. I wondered if anyone else has experienced an issue of this nature.

Had the exact same issue from a few weeks back after a software update. RBR of the Gemini did not help. RBR of my HR54 fixed it. So try RBR of whatever Genie you have, ie HR44, HR54, or HS17.

Thanks for the reply and your thoughts. I have an HR54-700 in my setup. I have went the way of RBR with both the Gemini and HR54-700. I have also pulled the power supply from each of them for a few minutes, plugged them back up and rebooted them. I have even rebooted both of them via menu resets. None of those options have done anything to fix the ongoing issue with the Gemini. I guess I will continue to do those on an occasional basis, and hope for the best for the Gemini. As stated in the OP, all appears to be good with the Gemini otherwise. It just refuses to display its software information.
