Genie picture in a picture questions

I have a Genie on the way to replace one of my HD receivers. I understand that it will allow me to see two channels at the same time, with audio on one at a time.

While I am looking at two channels can I record a third channel?

While I am looking at two channels can I hit PAUSE and after a few minutes hit FWD to skip commercials and promos? On one channel or both?

I asked these questions while on the phone with DTV but the person had no idea as to feasibility.

You can record up to 5 at at time, regardless of what you are watching if recorded, including PIP.

So if you are watching live and using PIP live, you can record 3 at a time.

You can FFW/Skip the program in the main windows, not the small windows (though you can flip between them to skip ahead that way.

Thanks. I've had DTV for a couple of years. Just ordered a Genie to replace my older DTV-R mainly for the PinP feature.

I don't have a genie and didn't know about the pip feature. Pretty awesome. Probably going to go the new customer route and get new gear soon once I exhaust credits on my current account.
