Getting annoyed. Is it DirecTV's fault?

I'm seeing it with the 30sec slip as well - maybe its a market-based thing?

I first noticed it sometime around late Sept/early Oct on some of the DirecTV inserted commercials (http://www.satelliteguys.us/directv-forum/268604-cant-ff-through-sunday-ticket-commercials.html). Seems to be happening on a lot of different commercials now.

I've noticed the skip not working only on commercials for local ads, the other thing that is more annoying is the sound level on these local ads is about 25% higher than the program that is playing. I noticed this happening several months ago.

Skip still working on my units AND audio levels are passed as they come through from the providers. DirecTV does not alter them.

Happened again during Daily Show last night. DirecTV commercial this time!

yep I've seen it on the "local inserted" commercials. 30skip is useless during them (have to hit the FF button)
