I used to be Dish customer and have switched to comcast when Dish refused to give HD-DVR at a reasonable price. After couple of years of service with Comcast, I have downgraded myself to basic cable as I dont want all those channels. Of course, their basic line up sucks is an understatement. Anyway, I keep getting this flyer from Dish time to time giving some deals for switching back.
I recently got a mailer which said that in some of the areas I can get HD locals without extra charge. Since my current requirement is not to have much of the channel line up, I would like to keep the basic line up (locals is all I need). So, I was wondering if I could get just the local HD content with just subscription at the basic level + local content ($29.99? + 7.99)
Anyone has more info on this? Thanks in advance.
