I read Iceberg was able to get CCTV with 18' dish. I know that CCTV on G3 has a very strong TP. I tried a 0.6 dB LNBF with 18'. But I could not lock the signal.
What is the problem? Do I need a better LNBF? Or is it my location (southwest of North Carolina)?

I have a normal 30' pointing to IA5. I just want put this little 18' dish to work.

when you use a 18" (I didnt hink you meant 18 foot dish) :) for G3 the skew must be absolute precise or it won't work. I lucked out as G3 is right next door to my True South (IA6) so skew is almost zero

The LNB I used in my setup was a .6 so its not that. You just have to have the skew dead on 9when you work with a smaller dish, there is minimal room for error)

The Level Angle Meter measures 16 degrees (In Calif.). This was for CCTV. Of cource the polarity was off by 90 degrees because I Strapped the Universal LNBF on a gutted Dishnet LNB (and 18 inch dish).

I could also get a few of the feeds on IA5 lin NDTV.
