Yep they are in bankruptcy and not making TVs anymore.
This is one case where I would consider the extended warranty they offer ($189)

Also consider the MSRP was $7,000 and it can't be found cheaper than like $2,800 from what I could find online.

Well the 65" Sharp that was 10k is now $6k or so? I consider this an excellent deal. If I were in the market for a display, I would totally jump on this.
