GPS for Hunting

I've got a Magellan Sportrak Color that I like a lot. Has an electronic compass built-in so you don't have to be moving for the GPS to figure out which direction you're facing. Biggest downside is it only has internal memory (no SD card expansion) and loading maps into it is a little clunky.

That said, if the area of Montana you're hunting is anything like where I've gone you don't really have to worry about getting lost. Most of the drainage's have a maintained Forest Service trail, and off the trail is straight up! Just come back down and you'll hit the trail again.
