I did ask the CSR how many customers they had, she said the just broke 1k a few days ago.. They need to get on the ball quick I don't think they can even pay for the transponder lease alone not to mention content, power, and labor with only 1k subs...

That's not too bad of a start, if you figure initial buy-in cost for people, and that people aren't even aware they exist as of yet. IF they weren't at least prepared to not make any profit for a minimum of a year, they shouldn't have gone into business at all.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

As the Real Estate people like to say: "I see lots of potential here".

They should do a little more promotion like Dish has done over the years. Such as a monthly $5 discount for a present subscriber, IF they get one of their friends to sign up and sub for at least 3 months minimum. That could snowball quickly, or at least get the word out much more quickly and cheaper that they are around.

They need to partner with some Wireless Internet Service Providers, As in let the WISPs sell and install the gear.. All of our customers are all ready accustom to paying for the install and service up front!

Sounds as if they're growing at a decent rate. There have been countless companies that grew too fast, and couldn't meet demand.

I have a Target and Best Buy nearby, and they were both sold out. I had to go to one 25 minutes away just to get my DVR.

Yea I had to order my DVR directly from Orby, the BestBuy and Target locations near me only stocked regular receivers..

I did free pickup at Target. It was ready in ten minutes! It took us longer to drive there.

That day, they had an extra 5% off with their Redcard, which is normally 5% off. My wife has one. It took the sales tax off and then some.
