Grounding

I am need of a little help. I had to install a multiplexer to increase the number of receivers in my house. I had the coaxial cables run through a grounding block. Since adding the multiplexer, which I also grounded, is in necessary to still run the coaxial cables through the grounding block?

I would say yes.
Better to drain electrostatic buildup at the grounding block than at the multiswitch (not multiplexer).
