On the h10 receiver, does anyone know what to select the resolution on. 1080, 720 or even set it on auto select resolution. I have a Samsung 50 dpl

thanks

The Samsung DLP has a resolution of 1280 X 720 (720p), but it also has an internal scaler that will scale whatever input resolution you use to the set's 720p resolution.

So, you can pretty much feed it anything. If you set the H10 at auto, then the Sammy will scale 1080i, 480p or 480i to 720p. What you might do is try some 1080i material (CBS, NBC) using the auto ouput on the H10, and then try it with the H10 output set to 720. See which looks best to your eyes (I suspect that using auto and letting the Sammy do the downscaling will produce better results).
