H10-250 and Cable

Hi quick question,
I have the HD Tivo with D* and I also have cable. Can I put the cable into the OTA port?

nope.

Yes you can.

You will only be able to watch the analog channels unless you have a digital box before the D* receiver.

You will have to put the unit in standby mode before it will work.

I am mistaking.

You cannot because there is no coax out on the unit.

Oh well, I have cable internet and they forgot to put a filter on so when I hooked up the cable to my tv I recieved most of their programming even alot of digital ...
