Sorry, if this has been covereged before, but I've got limited time now and I'd like to pick up the "free" H20 today.

I downloaded the manual and see something about it needing a "5 LBN Multi-Satellite Dish Antenna - MPEG4 and Ka/Ku Compatable" What is this. I have a 3 (I think).

Also, I think that I'm seeing that it will pick up and transmit my locals, which I now get through cable and OTC without having to turn off the receiver and going strictly with the TV tuner. Am I correct?

Thanks in advance.

The 5 LNB dish is needed in areas where HD locals are available. At this time, that is Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia and San Francisco (NYC and LA have their HD locals available through the oval 3 LNB dish for now.) The H20 will work with the oval 3 LNB dish for regular HD channels.

The H20 (as well as all D* HD receivers) has an ATSC off air tuner that allows you to integrate your local off-air (or cable) HD and digital broadcasts with the rest of the channels. Those off air channels appear in the guide as subchannels, such as 7.1 or 4-2.
