H24 Avtivation

So I bought a H24 receiver from a legit eBay seller who is an authorized directv retailer. I tried to activate receiver online the other night and message said receiver not found just wondering if I have to call for activation? Why does directv have that option on the website if you can't do online activations

So, did you call? If so, what did they say?
Edit: I checked the page. It seems like you have to get it through Directv in order to activate it online.

No haven't called as it was after 11 pm so I figured I wouldn't get an agent to help me out
