Remember what I have always say... ALL SCHOOLS CHEAT! Some more than others and some are better at not getting caught than others.

Harvard co-captains could withdraw

Harvard senior co-captains Kyle Casey and Brandyn Curry both have been implicated in an academic cheating scandal that could jeopardize their future with the Crimson, SI.com reported early Tuesday.

Casey plans to withdraw from the school and likely will miss the 2012-13 season, according to the report. If charged, he could face a one-year suspension.

But by withdrawing from registration, Casey keeps his final year of eligibility and could return to Harvard and rejoin the team once the case is settled.

Curry has not decided whether he will withdraw, his father told SI.com.

Harvard announced on Aug. 30 it was investigating allegations that 125 undergraduates "may have committed acts of academic dishonesty, ranging from inappropriate collaboration to outright plagiarism, on a take-home final exam" for an introductory government course on Congress.

Casey, Curry and another men's basketball player are among a group of students -- both athletes and non-athletes -- facing charges of academic dishonesty whose cases still are under review, according to SI.com.

Harvard coach Tommy Amaker has not publicly commented on the report.

Casey and Curry helped lead Harvard to the program's first Ivy League title and to its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1946. The Crimson went 26-5 last season and are the favorites to win the Ivy League in 2012-13.

The 6-foot-7 Casey led the Crimson in scoring last season, averaging 11.4 points per game, and was a first-team All-Ivy League selection.

Curry served as Harvard's primary ball handler last season, averaging 4.9 assists and 1.6 steals -- both team highs.

Academic cheating like this is probably widespread at schools like Harvard, that actually have stringent academic criteria on their athletes.

Like our momma's said: Just because they all cheat doesn't make it right!! ;)

Correct..and just because you haven't been reported...does not mean you ain't cheatin'...;)

There is also that other saying..."If you ain't cheatin' ...you ain't trying...."

They were accused of cheating on a take home test. REALLY? What do you expect and how do you prove they were cheating? I think this is ridiculously stupid and they should not be punished for it.
