I have a 722 that is acting up. If I wish to rewind and watch a replay of anything, it will start playing where I stopped the rewind, play for a minute or so, then:rant: suddenly go back to live TV. I use this function a lot especially for sports and it has gotten very annoying. Anyone else experience this problem or know how to fix it? I even did a complete factory default setup and reboot, but it did not fix the problem. Nothing on the menu seems to apply to this. I appears as though this may be some kind DVD hard drive malfunction

You can try to do a hard reset(plugging it for 5 minutes) if that doesn't help I'm afraid you will need to contact Dish Network Tech Support and after going through all their suggestions I would imagine you will need to replace your receiver.Good Luck!:)

I just barely, (this morning) got done replacing my 722 for the very same problem, I also had been steadily losing my VOD titles. I tested the scan features a few times and the new unit seems to be fine

My replacement 722 received 3 VOD titles last night and all the scan features work fine now. I am sharing this symptom (VOD titles disappearing) for Hard drive failure because it took several calls and chat sessions before I got a tech to acknowledge that the drive could be causing this.

And here I thought losing VOD titles was a desirable thing. ;) I haven't watched one (due to price) in a long long time. I grew weak and bought one of the $.99 titles on two DVRs, but then (1) I was charged twice and (2) some porn was spuriously charged to my account as well. I had them set my VOD credit limit to $0 and have not had the problem since. I wish when we do this that Dish would give me back the rest of my disk. The 320GB disks on my two 612's is inadequate the way it's divided up now.

I agree totally! The $.99 1080p deal was sweet. It just bothered me that they were disappearing and that was symptomatic of other problems that would probably get worse. It is great to have my DVR scanning properly again however

Looks like the unplug reset has worked for the time being. I did have a glitch or two last nite so will have to keep monitoring the situation. Thanks for the advice but I do think things will go downhill again.....
