Hardware testing

How does someone test new hardware, like the c31 along with testing of software that's involved here?

Those opportunities are extremely rare and Directv usually chooses their test team based on individuals who have been most useful in feedback on previous trials. The last few tests run on other sites only had a few members, like 5 or so.

Essentially, there isn't much opportunity for hardware testing, but we test software nearly every Friday night.
