On Monday I noticed that my recordings of ABCHD & CBSHD both had skipped parts of the show where it got blurry during the show. I thought nothing really of it. Tuesday morning I woke up to see all of my local channels(NYC market), and some others like Disney & Encore(those were the ones I checked) were having no signal. I noticed I had a new update during the night 0x66d. I did a network check and it gave me 3 errors. The codes were 43-72-79-756. One for Satellite needs alignment, no phone line, and Network error. I had this on all 5 boxes in my house(2 HR24s, 3 R22s.) I reset my HR24 atleast 6 times but it did not fix the problem, instead one time after I reset it my local channels disappeared from my guide and channel list they returned some time later but still 771'ing. Later in the day FOXHD & FOXsd returned. NBCHD came and went. CBS & NBC in sd only returned at night but not ABC hd or sd as well as Disney, and one of the encore channels I checked. The satellite looks the same(its on my garage). I also noticed my 2 OTA channels I get with a AM21 connected to my one HR24, WCWN & WRGB were both coming in blurry and sometimes 771'ing. They worked fine this morning until after I reset the box and had to reenter the zipcode for the Am21. My antenna is a indoor antenna in my room(the opposite side of the house and direction of the DirecTV satellite.) I called DirecTV and told them the errors codes I got and they said code 49 meant too many connections. I told him I never said code 49 and the guy was quiet for awhile and said if there was anything else I needed help with.

I have DirecTV coming today between 8am-12pm. Hopefully they can help.

Here is my signal meters(on my HR24 in my room): Azimuth 232, Elevation 34, Tilt 64

Any idea what could be wrong?

SWM signal has changed a lot. On the HR24 its

96 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

On the R22 you cant change channels and it has no guide data and at 6:30amest it says its 12/31 at 9:30pm. So does that mean my satellite dish is dying or a loose wire?

First question is what dish/multiswitch setup do you have? According to your post, you have ten tuners and a regular SWM dish can only support eight, so for the system to work you should have an SWM16 multiswitch (with power inserter).

Assuming you do have an SWM16, then your signal strengths are much too low - you have zero signals on all the odd numbered transponders, and low signals on all the evens except for 101. That's an unusual signal pattern, and does not correspond with any of the most-encountered failures.
If it's an SWM16, do you see the same failure pattern on receivers attached to both the outputs of the SWM16?

I think its a SWM16 I know there is a SWM power thing in the basement that connects to a big gray rectangle box that has two wires going to two tiny rectangle like things with wires. The R22s & HR24 are connected to separate tiny rectangles(according to DirecTV when they hooked it up that way in 2011). I have the same Signal meters on both the HR24s and R22s but the R22s don't have the correct date and time now, nor do they have a guide or can not change channels. I can still change the channels on the HR24 to watch live TV of some channels in HD or SD.

First thing to do is check that the power inserter that is connected to the SWM16 is actually connected, and is powered (look for the power light). The symptoms you are describing are unusual but probably indicate a faulty SWM16, or a lack of power to the SWM16.
The power inserter is hopefully in the basement near the SWM16. If it is not there, it could be close to one of your DVRs.

The DirecTV guy just left he found that one of the 4 lines coming from the Satellite to the house was not working. He said it must have burnt out, he replaced that line and everything started working again.

Just FYI, a problem with one line could not have caused the signal levels you were seeing. The odd transponders from 99/101 are on one line, the odds from 103/110/119 are on another. So there's no way one line can cause the problem of no odds on all the satellites.
Also the low signal levels could not be caused by a single cable. Possible he realigned the dish for you? The combination of a bad cable and poor alignment could have caused your original problem.

I watched him the whole time, he never touched the dish, just messed with the wires. I even asked if it had to due with the dish and he said it was the one line that caused all the issues. He said the dish was fine.

Does not make sense but so long as it is fixed, that's OK....
