HD DVR and recoding questions?

So I am coming from Dish to Directv and have a few questions about the Directv HD DVR:
1. Is there a way to record only NEW episodes of various TV shows?
2. Can I create folders for DVR'd programs such as movies, sports, comedys, kids shows...?
3. If I order PPV can I record it on 3 HD DVRs and only have to pay the fee once or will I have to pay for each DVR?
4. If I have HBO or any movie channel package (as you usually get for a few months for free) and then cancel that package can I still watched DVR'd movies from that package?
Could someone fix my recoding to recording in the title, thank you.

2. u can sort dvrd programs by existing categories such as movies, sports etc.

On #3 if you order on line you will get it on all receivers and if you order by remote you will only get it on one. I hope someone will correct me if I am wrong cause I have never ordered a PPV.

For question #3: joed32 is correct if you order it online you will be able to record the program on all your DVR receivers. If you order it by remote it's only for that receiver.
