Hi guys, I'm obviously new here.
I've been having an audio problem for some time now with my service from DTV, and I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced it before I pursue it. I have the HD/DVR receiver, I don't have the model number handy but it was installed in December '05, but I have a problem with the sound periodically cutting out for maybe a second or two. The picture is fine, but the sound goes silent momentarily and comes back. It's quite annoying and it "appears" to be just the HD channels that does it. Has anyone else experienced sound problems like this??? I'm ready to call DTV and see if they'll replace the receiver before the first year is up.
