Well... You can buy the single-sat-tuner 211/211k/411 and activate the DVR Conversion option for a one time fee of $10. Otherwise you'll have to rough it with the dual-sat-tuner 612 designed for a single TV. I lease two of these and I have been very pleased.

Contact one of the dirt team. I would go with a 722 in the single mode. Why buy let Dish supply the receiver

The EHD activation fee for the 211 family is $40

To the OP, everything depends on what you need from your receiver, but I imagine you'll either get a 612, or 211 with EHD

The ONLY receiver that works with the Tailgater is the 211K

You can add an external hard drive to the 211k to give it DVR capability. This would be a one time $40 fee
