HD hook-up question

Hi guys,

Right now I have a dual LNB dish with 2 basic receivers. If I wanted to hook up HD to one of the TVs will it require running more lines from the dish to inside the house or does it just require a multi-switch outside with no more lines going inside the house. Thanks

If you get a non-DVR HD receiver all it needs is one cable to the dish, if it has an OTA tuner then a 2nd cable for that. But you'll also need to upgrade your dish to the new 5LNB dish else you won't be able to receive any of the new HD programming. If you currently have the 2LNB dish, looking at only 101/119 then you won't get any of the new HD channels and only a couple of the existing since most of them come from 110 which needs the 3LNB dish.
