HD Promo for existing HD pack customer?

I signed up for the Voom channels on Saturday. I already have the existing HD package. I've noticed a $5 credit on my account called "HD Promo." I assume this means I get Voom free for 6 months? I would have thought that the 6 month free promo was for new HD subscribers only.

I believe the $5 credit is for the HD Pak and not the Voom Pak. The credit is good for 12 months. $5 x 12 months = $60.

New customers don't pay for the HD Pak for 6 months so they save $60.

uh-oh, here we go.. You just opened a can o' worms with this thread... LOL.
As Mike said, the $5 credit should be for the HD Pak but with E* you never know what they are going to do..

with brand new customers, they get 6 free months of the hd pak. existing customers who upgraded within the last few months, get half off the hd pak for 12 months.
